Welcome to Ananta: Google India's Futuristic Campus in Bengaluru

India: A Tech Powerhouse Shaping Global Innovation

India continues to be a critical player in the global tech ecosystem. From its booming startup culture to a thriving app economy and innovative digital public infrastructure, the country is constantly pushing boundaries. Google has been a key enabler in this journey—supporting initiatives like AI-driven flood forecasts, early tuberculosis detection, and financial inclusion via Google Pay.

And now, Google is taking this journey further by building from India for the world.

Meet Ananta: A Campus with Infinite Potential

Located in Bengaluru, one of the fastest-growing technology hubs in the world, Ananta is one of Google’s largest and most ambitious office developments globally. Collaboratively built with local architects and designers, this purpose-built campus reflects Google's latest ideas in workplace design.

The name Ananta, meaning “infinite” in Sanskrit, echoes Google's vision—limitless potential through technology.

A Space Designed for Collaboration and Innovation

The Ananta campus goes beyond aesthetics. With India's largest installation of electrochromic smart glass and a fluid, sculpted facade, the building balances style with sustainability. Inside, every floor is designed like a mini-city: interconnected "streets" make navigation intuitive, while distinct “neighborhoods” allow teams to collaborate or focus in quieter spaces.

At the core of the building is Sabha—a large amphitheater-style space built for team gatherings, town halls, and casual conversations.

Accessibility and Nature Go Hand in Hand

Google has prioritized inclusivity at Ananta. The campus includes tactile flooring for the visually impaired, accessible amenities, and braille details to ensure that everyone feels welcome.

Living up to Bengaluru’s title as the “Garden City,” the campus is surrounded by lush greenery. From landscaped walking trails to jogging paths around the Aranya forest zone, employees are encouraged to take mindful breaks and connect with nature.

Sustainability at the Core

Ananta is not only futuristic but environmentally responsible. It recycles all its wastewater, harvests rainwater, and uses smart glass to reduce energy use. The interiors feature locally sourced materials, supporting regional businesses and reducing carbon footprint.

This thoughtful approach to sustainability reflects Google’s global mission to build responsibly while contributing to local ecosystems.

Building for India—and the World

With Ananta, Google reaffirms its commitment to India, not just as a market, but as a hub of innovation. The campus will help accelerate product development, foster stronger partnerships, and provide solutions to complex challenges that impact both Indian users and the global community.

Welcome to Ananta—where innovation is infinite and the future begins now.
